OAU student's murder:Adedoyin,six others,court remands*

The Osun State Police command has arraigned the owner of Hilton hotel and resort along with six others before a High Court sitting in Osogbo,for alleged murder of Obafemi Awolowo University postgraduate student on Thursday,3rd of March,2022.


The seven defendants include Rahman Adedoyin,Adedeji Adesola,23, Magdalene Chiefuna,24,Adeniyi Aderogba,37,Oluwale Lawrence,37,Oyetunde Kazeem,38,Adebayo Kunle,35.


Furthermore, Adedoyin was charged with the offense of unlawful interference with a dead body which is said not to be a capital offense while the six others were charged with various offense ranging from murder, conspiracy, altering receipt,along others stated.


The defendants pleaded not guilty



However, Adedoyin along five others applied for bail due to health issues because individual of them have different ailment they are nurturing.


The matter was adjourned till 4th of March for the application of bail for the remaining seventh defendant.



The presiding Chief Judge of the state,Mrs Adepele Ojo,ordered that all the defendants be remanded in Ilesh Correctional Centre
