 **ALGON canvass votes for Oyetola*  - *Commended governor on completion of olaiya flyover*  *    The Association of Local Government Chairmen (ALGON) in Osun State has urged the people of the state to reciprocate the gesture of the Governor,Mr Gboyega Oyetola by coming out en mass to vote for the Governor in the coming July 16 gubernatorial election. The speech was made during the visitation of ALGON to olaiya flyover bridge in the state The ALGON Chairman, Mr Abiodun Idowu,who spoke on behalf of other local government chairmen in the state express his heart of gratitude towards the Governor and commended him for fulfilling one of his campaign promises through the construction of the flyover. FG lifts Twitter ban after 222 days

Former Oyo Governor, Alao Akala Dies Aged 71

Information landing FRESH UPDATES is that the former Governor of Oyo State, Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala has died. According to the report, the news of his death was announced in the early hours of Wednesday. Akala died at age 71. He was born June 3, 1950, he preceded Rasheed Ladoja in January 2006.
